Musings and Venting (advance apologies are in order)

I was just sitting here, attempting to work on one of my STORIES and the events of the past few days kept playing in my head.

OK, my friend that was in the hospital was trying to get himself released last Wednesday, I found out. His doctor recommended against it and his roommate finally had to go down to the hospital on Wednesday night to convince him to stay another day, at the very least.

He finally got himself released Thursday morning and took a taxi cab back to Hayward from Santa Clara. The taxi ride cost over $120 USD so he gave the cab driver everything he had in his pockets and told him that's all he had. Most likely not enough, if I know him.

Anyway, his room mate came home Thursday to find the house torn up and my sick friend standing in the doorway to the roommate's room, stark naked. The roomie tried to get him to get dressed so the sick one went into the kitchen, trying to use the refrigerator as an air conditioner. When the roomie suggested he go back to the hospital, since he wasn't acting rational, the sick one responded by pulling a kitchen knife on him and telling him to "Leave me the **** alone!" (you fill in the asterisks)

Anyway, roomie called the sick one's niece and between the two of them, got him headed for the hospital again via ambulance The EMT crew checked his vitals and found his blood sugar over 560! Maybe the extra large pizza he had consumed by himself had something to do with that?

So, he goes to the hospital, but checks himself out of the hospital Friday (yesterday) morning. He hasn't been seen or heard from since and this bothers me. He's obviously not thinking rationally so in a way, he's a danger unto himself. Nobody has seen him and his cell phone is out of minutes so he has no way to communicate with us.

I fear he has done this because he is just irrational/delusional.
