The Last Sunday in June

Well, I decided that I would hack out a few lines before I go to bed.

To my friend Aslaug I salute her for thinking about writing another of her stories that was hinted at but not done. I look forward to her putting this up on her site because I know it will be good.

To my So Cal friend SC, the air up here from the fires had been ... bad. The sunlight has a strange orange cast to it and you can't see the hills from my house, which is less than 2 miles from my apartment. I have asthma so I have been forced to use inhalers that I haven't needed in years. I wish I could stay out of this bad air we are experiencing but my job on light duty has me measuring and inspecting playground asphalt! Oh Well ...

SC, I hope you get off those murderous shifts and can spend more quality time with your family. Take care and give that bum knee a rest. I can empathize because I have two of 'em.

Tigermark: Chapter 53 was very good. Hope to see another good chapter in a few months! LOL!!
