My Saturday of Boredom

Those of you that know me personally know I threw my back out a few weeks ago. Since then, I have been taking copious amounts of pain pills for my back because my employer thinks it's better to be on light duty than staying home, mending my back.

I finally dragged my tired old carcass out of bed at 8:30 this morning, got dressed and my tigress prepared a breakfast for us. I then sat down to do some work on my current "Immortal Warriors" story only to nap the morning and afternoon away. I still feel very under the weather at this moment, hoping I will get better.

I think it's the pain pills causing my inattentiveness, dulling my writing ability. To that end, I have decided to lay off the pills and see just how bad the pain is. If I can cope without the meds, I will.

I hope everyone else out there is doing fine.
