OK, not much to put here so I'll leave it short.
I'll be posting Chapter 7 of "A Loss Of Rights" tomorrow for your reading pleasure.
I'm real glad to see the end of the work week get here because my back has been in a sorry state this week. Either you have a good back or you have a bad back. I have a bad back, most likely blown out from working in amusement ride maintenance. I also ran out of pain pills, which should be refilled this evening. I'll take a bottle of water with me and have the tigress drive so I can take a pill as soon as I can. I am in great pain, indeed.
Anyway, hope all of you have a great weekend!

Just a little update
I don't really have much to post this time, just letting a few people know I'm still around.
I received an email from The Silver Coyote, letting me know he received my ramblings. Just to let you know SC, the air up here is almost berathable now. Hope things are going fine with you and you have just a few more moments to yourself.
Saturday I will be posting chapter 7 of "A Loss Of Rights." Things will start picking up now with the story and I know you will not want to miss chapter 9 when it's posted. It's a real gut wrencher. No lie.
Aslaug, do you have another chapter coming my way? And did I do a good job with my editing??
Anyway, time to go to bed for this old warhorse.

I was trying to send and receive email only to discover my domain host's email server must be down. For any of you that were trying to contact me since Friday, that's the reasons why. There are a few of you that know me from PF, so send me a PM there. Joan, send an email to me at my yahoo addy if you need to contact me. SC, if you need to email me, PM me for that addy. 8-)
Hope everyone has a safe weekend!
The servers are back up now. I guess it might have been a glitch or something ...

My Decision ...
After reading words of encouragement from a few friends, I have decided to continue my story "A Loss Of Rights" to its eventual end. As proof of this statement, I have posted Chapter 6 for your perusal and I am writing chapter 8 right now.
I thank all of you that took the time to give words of encouragement in this matter. As a side, I went back and read the story again to the end of chapter 7 and I still don't see what others have seen in this story. Oh well ...

Windoze Media Player is St00pid! (my little filly says so)
Well, Here's the gist of this Sunday's Blog-
Window$ Vista Home Basic is very strange ...
Windows Media Player will not play the audio component of an .ASF file (the format that my Aiptek Video Camera records in).
Windows Picture Gallery has no qualms about playing the video w/ the audio! Go figure. I tried to find and update the audio codec required for WMP to play the said format only to discover it just doesn't work! 8-(
I have to put up with this until October, when the warranty expires. Then I do the ultimate upgrade to it: Windows XP pro or some flavor of linux!

Does anyone actually read my stories?
I had this thought that there were a few people that read my stuff but did it really justify what I was doing with my bandwidth? The latest story, "The Loss Of Rights" has hit so many people emotionally that I am really thinking of ending the story now and not finish it. I'm not sure but most people said they couldn't get past the first half of chapter 2.
I went back and read the story to the point that I'm at now in writing it. Maybe it is an emotional story to me and yes, I am torn as to stopping or continuing, I just don't know what to do. I'm not sure how to convey what I feel because it's just not this simple.
Maybe it would be a good thing to just walk away from this story for a while. I have other things in my life that need my attention so I could just back-burner this tome until later.
I'll let you all know what I decide in a few days. If you have any words of wisdom send them to email@example.com and I will read and respond to any and all emails.
